A Korean Movie

THE CLASSIC

I 've just watched the Korean film "The Classic" yesterday. I really enjoyed watching it. It's so story-wise for it has a mixture of Drama, Romance, Action, Suspense & Comedy. The story runs in the past and in the present while slowly revealing the relationship between the characters. Emotions got its weight through the actors and actresses' portrayal of their roles. You can see from the movie a character torn between friendship and obligations in the family (to marry someone your family wants you to) and another character torn between friendship & love. The ending though is very interesting. Although the story provides a lot of hints on where the story would go, the viewers may still be confused until the ending. The movies also provided a lot of the beautiful sceneries in Korea. It somehow compared Korea's setting and culture of the past and the present.

Another very reason why I enjoyed watching this film is because it casts Jo In Sung (Paolo of Memories of Bali). Hihi! ;) By the way, I cried in the ending.. I will not tell you why for it will spoil you. There are a lot of twists in the story. I suggest you watch it too. haha!! In addition, sobrang nakakakilig. hihi! (ung sister ko napapatili!)

AdCreate Society (Frosh Welcoming)

Here are some of the pics from the frosh welcoming last May 16 and 19. So then you can picture the story.

I'm with Anna (VP-Creatives) here in the left pic taken last May16 while I'm with Maia(AVP-Publicity) & Ceena (VP-Accounts) on the other picture taken last May19. We just finished setting up the booth. It's around 1:00pm then kaya sobrang mainit!

We're at the exact front of the "Vinta." Chester (our El Presidente) did this "Balsa" thing and it did look like one. From left we have Chame (CC-Activities), Me, Kym (super active member), Anna, Chester, Miko (CC-Publicity) & Jean (AVP-Finance).

We're at the booth holding our souvenir for the froshies (anklets! yey!) ready to give them a warm welcome. Haha!!! Funny they walk around with their name sticker on them, kaya we call them by their names. For example, "Hi John! Welcome to La Salle!." O diba? Feeling close? hihi!!

Sa wakas pala ay nakapagpost ulit ako. Been busy kasi sa buhay eh. Pero sa haba ng time na di ako nakapagpost, at sa dami ng nangyari sa akin... parang wala akong mapost.. (or tinatamad lang ako). Haha! Eto nalang:

Tsaka kasi mas nakikilala ang isang tao sa way ng pakikipagconverse niya eh, serious o casual. In my spare time, tama yan! Pag la ako magawa, nakikinig ng songs habang kumakanta na rin, o kaya nagfeefeeling artist (nagddraw, nagphophotoshop,etc) or minsan nageexperiment sa pagluluto. :D

Sino ba naman hindi magugustuhan ang taong nagpapafeel sa iyo na special? diba?! ;)

Frosh Welcoming

Yesterday, I went to school for the CBE frosh welcoming. Call time namin sa org eh 8:30, kahit na 2:30 pa magstart ung frosh welcoming, kasi we still have to bring in the materials for the booth and set it up as well. Na-late ako nagising kasi naalarm ko yung cphone ko ng 7:30pm instead of 7:30am.. buti nalang nagising ako ng 8:00am! Kaya ayun, na-late ako ng dating sa school. Bago ako dumiretso sa sports plaza, nag-enroll muna ako. Swerte ko kasi isa lang ang nakapila sa accounting. Wow! that was the fastest enrollment I had, para lang akong bumili ng candy sa tindahan.

Anyway, pagdating ko sa booth, onti palang tao. Nagstart na kami magset-up ng booth. The theme for this school year is "Sakay na sa CSO" so each organization must decide what mode of transportation will represent them. VINTA ang sa amin, Pinoy na Pinoy! We bought the cloth sa Tutuban mall tapos si Baggy (our EVP) yung nagtahi. Ibang klase! ang galing niya kasi ang laki ng kinalabasan na sail nung VINTA.. considering na iba't ibang colors pa un. WoW! Ms. Home Econ! Ahihi! :D Tapos, we bought the souvenirs sa Divi Mall. Napagkasunduan namin na anklet ang ipamigay sa frosh. We got the anklets for only P3 each! Can you believe that? Sarap mamili sa Divi grabe. May mga tira pa na notepads from last year's LPEP so pinamigay rin namin un. We also gave them flyers. Ang cute ng flyers namin (galing ni k-ann!) kasi ruler form siya tapos medyo matigas ung paper. Ang ganda ng logic behind the layout and the copy. Astig!

2:30pm nagstart na dumaan yung mga frosh. Para sa mga hindi alam ang mangyayari, ung mga orgs kasi nakapaikot ung booths tapos ung frosh dadaan rin paikot then iwewelcome ninyo sila sabay bigay ng souvenirs, flyers, etc. Ayun, masaya! nakakatuwa kasi iba't reaction ng mga frosh. Yung iba parang overwhelmed sa pagwewelcome ng mga orgs sa kanila. Yung iba naman, di na magkaugaga kung paano nila hahawakan lahat ng inaabot sa kanila. Yung iba nakakaawa kasi halatang init na init na (kami rin noh!). Tapos yung iba naman NR. Haha! Eh tapos may name stickers pa sila kaya we call some of them by their names. Haha! Feeling close?! It was a fun experience. Ngayon ko narealize na pinagpaguran pala talaga and sobrang pagpaplan ang ginawa ng mga tao for this. Kasi syempre dati, naging frosh din ako.

Sponsors, anyone?

Being the VP-Finance of our org, AdCreate, ako ang in charge sa pagheahead ng sponsorship. May mga binigay na na list of companies sakin pero still, I have to make sure na same parin ung info na nandun like yung contact#, fax#, address, lalo na ung contact person kasi nakakahiya naman na mag-address ng sponsorship letter and package sa maling tao diba? So ayun, I tried to email some of the companies and asked them kung sino ang dapat na kausapin regarding it. Out of 20 companies na I've emailed.. 2 lang ang nagreply.. o diba ang bait nila.. how sad noh! Ang hirap pala.. kung ayaw nila ng email.. sa telepono ko sila kukulitin. muhahaha!!! ;)

Sana naman may mga makuha kami na sponsors. If not in cash... products okay din kasi para naman may mga magagandang goodies na makuha ung mga magmemember samin this year. Para na rin hindi sayang ang membership fees nila.

Tama ba na sabihan ako ng younger sister ko na GEEK ako?! Ginagamit niya naman ang pagka "GEEK" ko ah! Nagpapagawa ng assignment sa Math lagi! Kahit na alam niya naman kung paano gawin, ako parin uutusan niya. Ako pa nga pinapagawa niya ng essays niya minsan. Tsk tsk. Pero geek nga ba talaga ako? Ano ba description ng geek? Hay ewan! Basta ang alam ko, nag-eenjoy naman ako sa lahat ng ginagawa ko. Hindi ko naman papasukin o gagawin ang isang bagay na hindi ko gusto eh.

Better, I think. Usually ung being 'secretly evil' sandali lang iyan eh, pag tagal mawawala na inis or galit mo.. mawawala narin evil thoughts. Diba? diba?

Recovered from the Pain = Star City

After the torture I've experienced, having an upper back ache.. yes, an upper back ache, (So you thought that the 'pain' was something mushy,huh?) I'm here again, in front of the PC.. haha!! Pasaway talaga! Kasi naman.. ang boring, la magawa.. so for me to have life (if you can call this LIFE).. I need to use the PC and relax. Para akong na-free from something na nagstop sa akin na gawin mga bagay. I can now play table tennis, do some stretching and running, use the PC, and go to Star City!!! Hehe!!!

I went to Star City yesterday with my Elementary bestfriend, her ate, and their 2 cousins. Ininvite nila ako sumama. Dapat kasi watch lang kami ng movie ni Roan, pero nagkayayaan daw sila na ipasyal ung 2 cousins niya sa Star City. We arrived there 3pm.. sabi kasi nung isa nilang cousin 2pm raw nag-oopen.. un pala 4pm pa! Wow! Para kaming excited dun nag nag-antay sa labas for 1hour. Pero okay lang kasi nagkulitan lang naman kami. Hehe! At last nag-open na.. di madyado mahaba ang pila. Buti naman! Kasi ang init, pramis! Bumili kami ng Ride-all-you-can na bracelet (hehe!! ung parang paper na sticker na nilalagay sa wrist) for only P190. Okay na diba? Tapos pagpasok namin, hindi pa ready ung mga rides so nag-ikot pa kami for an hour more. Nagstart na kami mga 5pm na. Kung titignan, parang mall ung Star City. Ang weird kasi ng structure eh plus ang dami pang tiangge. Halos lahat naman sinakyan namin except ung rollercoaster (di ko talaga kaya sumakay ng ganun, feeling ko mamamatay ako), round thingy (ung ride na nakatayo ung mga tao sa isang malaking bilog tapos i-spin sila.. para silang mga blade ng electric fan.. gets?), octopus, ung mga umiikot na cups, ano pa ba? Basta un lang ata. Okay naman... sulit naman ung P190. Masaya siya but tiring. Napabili pa nga ako ng sandals dun kasi nkarubber shoes ako. Tapos nabasa sa wild river.. as in pinasukan ng sangkatutak na tubig ung isa kong paa. Di ko kasi nataas masyado kaya para akong lumusong sa baha! Buti sana kung malinis ung tubig sa wild river eh hindi! Maraming nangyari, pag kinwento ko in detail baka mabore ka sa pagbabasa.. haha!! :P

My back badly aches!!!

Huhuhu... ngayon lang ulit ako nakapost kasi gumawa ako ng budget proposal para sa org tsaka tinapos ko ung sponsorship letter... supposed to be, di parin ako post ngayon for another reason, 3 days ng sumasakit ang upper back ko. Feeling ko sa back part ng rib cage siya specifically, ung thoracic (chest). Ang alam ko bihira ang pain sa upper back kaya pag sumakit iyon, significant discomfort talaga ang abot mo, since ung thoracic spine is designed to be strong unlike ung neck and lower back for mobility sya. Ang mga naiisip kong reasons kung bakit sumakit bigla ung upper back ko ay:

• dahil sa myofascial pain (muscular irritation). Kasi ngayong bakasyon lagi ako matagal sa PC nakaupo so baka nastrain ung likod ko.. kaya nga bawal muna ako magPC sabi ni mommy.. takas lang ito kasi may kelangan ako i-e-mail.. pasaway!
• siguro, since sumakit ito nung paggising ko, baka dahil sa wrong posture overtime.. syempre pag tulog naman tayo di natin namamalayan ung position natin.
• eto pa.. malamang due to muscular irritation..kasi naman... nagtreatreadmill ako this vacation, tapos eh may dumbells ako dito so ginamit ko. Eh after kong mag treadmill the day before i felt the pain, naiisip ko itry ung pinakamabigat sa set ng dumbells ko.. nag-experiment ako ng routines.. tapos may isa pala ako na mali ang paggamit ko kaya malamang na-shorten ung muscles ko sa likod so ung joints nacompress.. gets? Ah basta! baka naoveruse ko ung dumbells tapos repetitive motion pa un diba? pasaway talaga! at pauso ng exercise! hahaha!!! :D

Ang problem ko ngayon eh kung paano ako gagaling?!!!! Kasi naman... ung mga balak kong gawin sa araw-araw ay di nasusunod dahil nga dito.. di ako makapagPC nang matino kasi sumasakit agad.. (eto nga eh takas lang, pasaway!) Huhuhu.. how sad... :(
